Salem - Special Needs the Dog needs a home
Salem has been in rescue for several months now as we tried to determine the reason why his rear legs don't work quite right. The doctors said he has no hip sockets, so technically his hips are dislocated, his femurs curve at the knee causing his knee joints to be out of line, and his ankle joints are backward. He is now 6 months old and doing wonderfully! He is able to compensate and can walk, run, and even go up and down stairs. Salem is hoping there is a special family out there that is willing to overlook his handicap and give him a forever home. He is house and crate trained, great with other dogs and kids too.
